MentorMate Expands C-Suite, Appoints Jay Miller as President

Following the recent expansion into Paraguay, MentorMate has scaled its leadership team and appointed a new President.

Minneapolis, MN, February 21, 2023 /PRNEWS/ — In a significant restructuring of its executive leadership team, MentorMate has expanded its C-Suite and appointed Jay Miller as President, effective immediately. The news comes as Jamie Bolseth announced his upcoming retirement as MentorMate’s President after 11 years with the company.

“I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve done during my time here at MentorMate and the immense growth we’ve achieved together as a company,” says Bolseth. “Having worked with Jay very closely over the past decade, I have all the confidence in the world that he’ll continue leading MentorMate down that path.”

Miller joined MentorMate in 2013 as Creative Director. Since 2016, he’s overseen the company’s growth efforts as VP of Sales and Marketing, including last year’s 43% increase in revenue. In his new joint role as President and Chief Revenue Officer, he’ll continue to focus on MentorMate’s future growth and expansion, as well as leading the company’s C-Suite.

“In my role, I now sit between our visionary — our CEO and Founder Björn Stansvik — and the rest of our C-Suite,” says Miller. “As Björn charts out where we’re headed as a company, I’m there to remove any barriers and ensure alignment within the executive team about how we get there.”

In addition to Miller stepping into the role of President, MentorMate’s C-Suite now includes Chief Financial Officer Stefan Tzanev, Chief Strategy Officer Josh Marquart, and Chief Design Officer Denny Royal. The company previously announced Craig Knighton as Chief Operating Officer in August of 2022. These changes to MentorMate’s executive leadership structure follow last month’s announcement about the company’s Latin American expansion.

“With MentorMate Paraguay online, we now have delivery centers on three continents and team members in over 35 countries,” says Stansvik. “As we continue to expand our global footprint, it’s crucial that we also scale our leadership team to accommodate all of that growth and capture our goal of being one of the world’s top digital transformation consultancies.”
